‘Halloween’ Out Now

Our latest single is available everywhere. It’s our most ambitious (and creepiest) tune yet.

School of (Jazz) Rock

New Nostalgia hits the schools, teaching the art of face-melting

The NN boyz hanging with the amazing young musicians at Oswego High School after our shared concert last November. Shoutout to Kevin Schoenbach for having us!

If there’s one thing New Nostalgia has learned on their shred-jazz odyssey, it’s this: young musicians everywhere want a piece of the NN pie. Students want to learn to rock out the New Nostalgia way, to use their hard-earned jazz education in service of the shred.

And NN is more than happy to oblige - offering guest performances and clinics on improvisation, ensemble playing, arranging and more.

Are you a music teacher/student? Want us to come to your school? We’d love to! Just drop us a line and we’ll talk.

The students are still talking about it...yall done good.

The rehearsal was great! It worked out really well - the kids feed of your energy

Recent Shows

Here’s some footage from some recent performances, in case you missed it (or just want to rock with us again 🤗)

Battle of the Saxes

You never know what’s gonna happen at a NN show––or who’s gonna show up with a freaking bass saxophone. Our good buddy Jacob Slocum got a new toy recently, so he and Neil (alto) had a good old-fashioned sax battle at our show Jan 30 @ Sleeping Village.

Be sure to join our email list so you don’t miss the next one 🤘

NN Rocks Halloween

Missed our Halloween show? Have no fear - Orlando St. George is here! At least that was the Halloween alter-ego of our tenorist Alex Beltran as he shredded this solo.

Trying out a new one

Last August we played a set of all-new unrecorded music at Golden Dagger in Chicago - featuring our pocket-laden version of Caroline Polachek’s tune ‘So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings’ from our upcoming 2nd studio album.
